On June 28, 2022, the Clean Energy Business Network and Banks and Company convened Federal Energy Funding 101. This event provided a primer on how to navigate federal funding opportunities for clean energy researchers, entrepreneurs, and communities wishing to attract new economic development opportunities.
Panelists discussed several recurring annual or bi-annual federal programs to support energy innovation and deployment. Following the presentations, we moved into a virtual networking expo providing an overview of the U.S. energy innovation ecosystem. Nearly 40 cleantech incubators, accelerators, community organizations, and consultants showcased their services for businesses and communities in our interactive expo hall.
