We encourage investments in critical programs to spur energy innovation and U.S. competitiveness in the global clean energy economy. Our efforts include enaction and implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act (2022)--which included long-term tax incentives and grants for clean energy, along wtih the CHIPS+ innovation and R&D package.
ViewThe CEBN works to advance the use of cleaner, more efficient, more affordable, and more resilient energy solutions. We encourage government leadership and corporate action on sustainability and clean energy procurement. Our efforts include the enaction and implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (2021) and creation of FEMA's Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities program.
ViewThe CEBN supports efforts across federal, state, and local governments to ensure that the clean energy transition—and the benefits and opportunities that come with it—include historically underrepresented and frontline communities such as communities of color. CEBN is committed to engaging in intentional efforts to make the clean energy economy more inclusive, diverse, and equitable.
ViewWhile CEBN is primarily focused on federal level policies, at the state and international levels we also work to promote the exchange of information on opportunities and barriers to clean energy deployment, along with international trade and export initiatives impacting clean energy. As other policy opportunities arise, the CEBN works to advance the interests of the clean energy industry.
