Produced by Bloomberg New Energy Finance and the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, the Factbook provides new industry information and trends on the U.S. energy economy, with an in-depth look at the energy efficiency, natural gas, and renewable energy sectors as well as emerging areas such as battery storage and sustainable transportation. The Clean Energy Business Network (a small and midsize business division of the BCSE) also showcased new case studies from Faces Behind the Facts, a companion project profiling successful clean energy business leaders working across the industries featured in the Factbook.

The Clean Energy Business Network (CEBN) works to advance the clean energy economy through policy, public education, and business support for small- and medium-size energy companies. Started in 2009 by The Pew Charitable Trusts, the CEBN is now a small business division of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy. The CEBN represents 3,000+ business leaders across all 50 U.S. states working with a broad range of clean energy and transportation technologies.
